I am an avid reader and depending on my mood I like to get into some serious reading or just read for the entertainment value…mostly entertainment value :)

I will list here and continually update which books I’ve read that I think you might as well.  Please post comments with any suggestions or questions.

I also like to read about the experiences of our men and women in uniform, being a product of 80’s and 90’s, growing up with Full Metal Jacket and Platoon, I’ve found I concentrate quite a bit on the Vietnam Conflict.  Anyway, here is a list of good reads, telling you the stories of these young men as they fought through the jungles of South Vietnam and in some situations Laos, Cambodia and North Vietnam:

There will be more to come, but I will leave you for now with one book that you must read: Lone Survivor by Marcus Luttrell.  It chronicles Mr. Luttrell’s heroic firefight and survival in Afghanistan while on Operation Red Wing.  In Fact, watch the following video:
